Rancho Pura Vida is committed to providing a professional, positive, and safe environment that is open to riders and horses of all levels:
- for riders that have a desire to develop better horsemanship skills and strive toward improving their understanding and relationship with their horses to maximize performance in a horse-showing oriented environment;
- for horses to provide the best learning approach that encourages curiosity and self-confidence as the foundation to their training process.
This can be accomplished by adhering to this core belief system and the following business principles:
- Desire to figure out what each horse is best suited for so that they can be trained taking advantage of their strengths and abilities while keeping in mind the safety and well being of the animal.
- Making sure that the horse and rider combination is well suited for each other, in lessons, horse sales (buying or selling), and long-term ownership. Strive to understand each individual client’s goals and desires so they can be best directed.
- On-going open communication with clients to make sure we are keeping their goals in the forefront of our training sessions, maximizing training time and setting attainable goals to maintain a high level of motivation.
-
With the belief that word-of-mouth advertising is the best form of advertising, each and every client regardless of their ability or level of participation in barn or training activities is to be treated with respect and in a courteous manner, focusing on outstanding service that promotes a welcoming environment for our clients to enjoy their passion for horses.
- Rancho Pura Vida training program is geared toward a horse-show clientele or people seeking to advance their own or their horse’s level of training. However, riders and horses of all levels are encouraged to participate in our training program and can benefit from our techniques.
- Establishing policies to minimize and resolve issues such as horse and/or rider injuries, loss of equipment, maintenance needs, personal conflicts, etc.
