Boarding at RPV

Rancho Pura Vida is a private and serene 10 acre training facility located at the base of the Sierra Foothills. We are approximately 20 miles from Folsom, Ca and 45 miles east from Downtown Sacramento. Commuting to most major Northern California show grounds is very convenient with Murrieta Equestrian Center, Brookside, StarVaughn and Leones Equestrian center all being less than 45 min drives.

Our Facility was custom built to house and care for horses the way we want our own horses kept. Every detail was carefully planned to give the horses large comfortable spaces which encompass the needs of a show horse but also give the horses the opportunity to be  in the most natural environment possible. Stalls are a minimum of 12×16 with year round walk outs and seasonal pastures attached to each stall. We have intentionally built limited numbers of stalls so that we can keep an intimate setting for our clients and provide the most personal care to each horse. Horses are fed quality grass hay three times daily and also provided pelleted feed and supplements morning and night. Blanketing and fly mask care is included in all of our board options as we would like all the horses to have equal care.

Our amenities at this time include an open 150×200 arena with dressage court and jumping options and a round pen. We have acres of hacking trails which will include cross country jumping options in the near future. Our crossties are large, covered and lighted with separated wash racks. Our tack room is spacious with individual cubbies provided for all boarders in training.
