Rate Sheet

Training Rates:

Board - paid directly to Black Rice Farm center. $350.00 per stall/paddock.

Full Training - Includes 4 training sessions by the trainer per week.                          $600/month

Half Training - Includes 2 training sessions by the trainer per week.                          $400/month

** Half Training only available by special arrangement with the trainer **

Horses coming in for only one or two months of training might be subject to higher training rates.  Please call for details.

Training Session - Depending on the age and level of training of the horse, includes ground work and work under saddle.

For Horses in Full/Half Training

Horse handling for Vet and Farrier                                                                             Included for horses in training

Blanketing and/or Fly Masks (provided by owner)                                                     Included for horses in training

Up to 30 lbs of feed per day. Hay fed twice daily, pellets once daily                 Included

Note:

1.      Each lesson to the owner or another rider authorized by the owner on the horse in training will take the place of one training session by the trainer.

2.      Boarding is available based on availability at our training facility.  Please talk to the trainer regarding boarding.

3.      Farrier and Vet fees are the responsibility of the owner.  Clients will be billed directly by the service providers,  Rancho Pura Vida will not pay for these services.

Horse Show Rates (per day):

Schooling by Trainer for horse and rider                                                            $50.00 per day

Horse Ridden by Trainer                                                                                   $35/class for Dressage test. $20.00 per class for hunter jumper

Travel Time (to be divided equally among clients)                                              $25/hour if not trailering the horse.

Trailering                                                                                                          $1/mile

Grooming prior to Horse Show (including bath and some clipping)                     $30/horse

Braiding (if braider available).  Paid to braider.                                                  Approx. $35

Groom (including stall cleaning, water/feed, etc.)                                                $50.00 per day

Meals and Misc. for Trainer during show       

For overnight shows: Stall as charged per show.  Trainer accommodations and meals to be divided equally among clients.  Bedding, tack room (if needed), misc., will be divided equally among clients per horse.

Lesson Rates:

Lessons include both rides by the trainer, instruction, or a combination of the two.

Marketing for Sale:

Sale Commission - % of final sale price                                                             10%

Sale Video (including filming, editing, production)                                              $150/first tape
